Ross
I only realized now that almost all of my first encounters with my current friends are just really funny. The story of how Ross and I met still gets told a lot, apparently.
A couple of years back on a Friday evening, my friends and I went to our usual watering hole, I had invited this girl (let’s call her Nashley) I just started talking to to come and join me so we could get to know each other better (read: sort-of date). Little did I know, she brought along a friend with her (Ross), but they weren’t that great of friends and Ross had no clue he was tagging along on a “date”. I had no clue Nashley turned out to be the complete opposite of the fun and interesting girl I imagined her to be (not to mention a stalker…) For a supposed “date”, Ross and I ended up talking with each other much more than I did with her. Contact infos were exchanged at the end of the evening.
The very next day, he added me on MSN, we chatted a bit before I had to admit to him that I was weirded out by Nashley. He felt the same way. So then we bonded over the overall awkwardness of the previous evening.
Ross is hot shit (pardon my language), he really is. He loves comic books and video games, he’s an all-around wonderful guy to hang out with, always smiling and in good humour. Plus he’s such a supermodel; I would so make him to be my boyfriend if I was into the peens.
To Nashley: You came on waaay too strong, I still get creeped out by your crazy eyes whenever we bump into each other…
